Loren has been a practicing financial planner since 1980. He has his Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Investment Advisory Representative of Personal Financial Consultants, Inc., a registered investment advisor.
Loren has an extensive background in retirement plan administration and investment planning and insurance issues. Loren founded Personal Financial Consultants in 1985 and has pursued a vision of independent, unbiased services to the general public ever since.
He holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, NJ. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Loren and his wife, Pat Pannell, live in Pleasant Hill, California. They also maintain a residence on the island of Kauai. In addition to his financial planning activities, Loren is a concert flute and piccolo player and plays in the Walnut Creek Concert Band and Kauai Chamber Players, as well as orchestra and theatre groups on Kauai. Loren is the Board President of the Walnut Creek Band, as well as involved in music education and scholarship fund raising.
